Sarah White Stillman
L.Ac, MSOM, Dipl. O.M.
Practicing in Boulder and Lyons, CO
Sarah was lucky enough to grow up in Telluride, CO where she received her first acupuncture treatment at age 15. In 2007 she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She then began studying at Southwest Acupuncture College immediately after.
While in school she began an apprenticeship at the office of Aloha Wellness under a world-renowned local acupuncturist practicing the Japanese style of Oriental medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Dann. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2011.
In 2023, Sarah began studying deeper spiritual work through the Academy of Intuition Medicine in Sausalito, CA. She continues to study there, pursuing her Masters of Intuition Medicine. This work greatly influences her acupuncture treatments.
Sarah is board certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) by
the National Committee of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the state of Colorado. Her continued acupuncture studies have taken her to
different schools and clinics in Japan in 2011, 2014, and 2019.
Though trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), she now
specialize in Japanese acupuncture, which is by contrast much gentler. The Japanese style of acupuncture focuses on balancing the qi by gently strengthening it through very delicate needling techniques. In this style, we use smaller needles, use less stimulation, and do
very shallow insertion of the needles.
